Clerics who take the Moon domain look for wisdom and guidance from the moon. The moon is typically associated with cycles, time, navigation, wanderers, magic, divination, connections, and women. For surface peoples, the moon is one of the most important symbols of the divine in daily life, alongside the sun, whose endless cycles govern night and day. Moon clerics, naturally, perform their rituals at night, with different purposes depending on what phase the moon is in. Moon clerics typically serve as diviners, guides for travelers and ships, healers, and they provide blessings for marriage and births. The moon is most associated with women and lycanthropes, so most Moon clerics are women and werecreatures.
