Description
A sphere of air under incredible pressure is created by the caster above the target area. The airball immediately falls down and splits into five smaller airballs which each produce an effect similar to the second level spell 'Gust of Wind' when they hit the ground.
Each gust has a 1d12 chance of manifesting into an air elemental which will serve the caster for up to two turns / twenty rounds. Only three air elementals can be summoned this way. For Druids this chance is 1d8 per gust, and one air elemental always willingly manifests. For Clergy with the air domain three air elementals always willingly manifest.
In some circles this spell is known as Akadi's Airball though its use is not limited to priests of the Queen of the Air.
Gameplay Notes
Each gust has a 1 in 12 chance at summoning an elemental for Wizards. Druids and Spirit Shamans always get 2 elementals, and have a 1 in 8 chance each gust to summon a third. Air Clerics always get 3 elementals.
