Even the last two throws have been principally lollipopped to the surface.

The Washington Football Team is headed to the playoffs. By defeating the division rival Philadelphia Eagles on "Sunday Night Football," the Football Team completed the season with a 7-9 document, putting them one recreation ahead of the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys. This just seems like a totally non-threatening drive.

Washington (7-9), meanwhile, will advance to the playoffs as NFC East champions to fulfill the Tampa Bay Buccaneers within the wild-card spherical. But in all seriousness, the headlining transfer to drag Hurts for Sudfeld was not the one cause the Eagles didn't win. Before Sudfeld entered, Philly had gone just 7-of-20 through the air, with Hurts struggling to penetrate Washington's secondary and lacking on some crucial red-zone throws behind an inconsistent O-line. Defensively, the Eagles' backup-littered secondary allowed Alex Smith to dink and dunk his way up and down the sector early on. Almost no one stepped up out extensive, as per ordinary. Sudfeld, of course, helped cap the loss with a bumbling performance within the fourth, taking part in right into Washington's palms.

This, pals, is the place we can appropriately highlight the Hurts transfer. Although the Eagles weren't precisely lighting the world on hearth before making their QB swap, the change to Sudfeld early in the fourth quarter definitely signaled the tables had turned.

Washington didn't run away with things by any means, however the Eagles scored precisely zero factors after the swap, with Sudfeld ending 5-of-12 for 30 yards and a choose. It marked the second Philly at least partially accepted the "L" and allowed Washington's protection to thrive. Sudfeld is 4 of 10 for 26 yards and a decide. The Football Team is headed to the playoffs. The Eagles have the No. 6 decide within the draft.
