An ability is one of six basic character qualities, each representing a different aspect of a character's presence in the world. For each of these qualities a character has an ability score which indicates how much of a presence they have.
They are:
- Strength (Str)
- Dexterity (Dex)
- Constitution (Con)
- Intelligence (Int)
- Wisdom (Wis)
- Charisma (Cha)
