Padded armor

The lightest form of armor that you can wear that still provides some protection, padded armor consists of a thick set of clothing that has been stuffed with additional padding to try to prevent weapons from getting in so easily. It gets hot quickly and can become fouled with sweat, grime, lice and fleas.
