Halardrim is spoken in Threskel, Rashemen, the Moonshae Isles. Its origins are something of a mystery and the language is in decline everywhere but Rashemen. It has been observed by sailors and traders from Threskel that the Witches of Rashemen can understand them if they attempt to privately discuss matters in Halardrim.

Most speakers only have a loose grasp on the language because of lack of practice. In regions such as Threskel and the Moonshae's the language is declining due to lack of use, being replaced by regional trade languages. In Rashemen the Witches secretly speak the language and teach it to their initiates. It is speculated the language is a remnant of the Halardrim realm, at some point holding dominion over all three places. Few historical records mention this realm and what little is know is presumably kept by the Witches of Rashemen.
