The mad mage Inhundyl devised a primer for the power word spells in 228 DR. Although infamously remembered as conqueror of Meiritin and usurper of the Calishar Emirates his contributions to the arcane Art granted him a modicum of respect from his peers.

When cast all power word spells affect the target as though it has 50 hitpoints less than it actually possesses.

If the target is under the effects of a Non-Detection ward you must succeed in a roll against that spell before any other saves are rolled.
