  • Type of feat: General
  • Prerequisite: None
  • Required for: None
  • Specifics: When fighting defensively or when using the Parry mode, you deal an extra 1d6 points of damage with any light weapon or with any weapon to which the Weapon Finesse feat applies (such as a rapier or whip). This feat's benefit applies only when you are unarmored or wearing light armor and not using a shield.
  • Use: Automatic.
  • Special: If you have the Combat Expertise feat, you also gain the benefit of Deadly Defense when taking a penalty of at least -2 on your attack roll from that feat.

Gameplay Notes

Known Issues (may be corrected in the future):

  • Works with Natural (Creature) Weapons when it should not.
  • Requires Weapon Finesse feat to activate the damage bonus, even though it does not per SRD rules as written.
  • Activating prior to equipping medium/heavy armor, and then equipping medium/heavy armor does not properly remove the damage buff.
