[quote="Valefort"]The maximization of physical damage is not well made, on a crit, as far as I can tell, it's not maximized (can't be fixed, the function coded by Obsidian simply works like that). So instead of 12*3 it's d12+ d12 +d12 (what is multiplied in nwn2 is the number of dices used, not the result of the dice).

Northlander Hewing

Type of Feat: General / Fighter [Style]
Prerequisite: Strength 13, BAB +5
Use: Selected (mode)

Northlander hewing is a style of combat made famous by the Northern barbarian tribes, who are reknowned for the savage strength they can put behind each blow. You limit yourself to 2/3 of your attacks (rounded to nearest integer) each round but do maximum damage with the remaining attacks. You add your strength modifier as extra physical damage. Due to the strength you must put behind your blows you suffer an attack bonus and dodge AC penalty of 2.

Gameplay Notes

You lose your last attacks in your round. Usually these are your lowest Attack bonus Attacks. But Haste, the bugged extra attack from Monk´s Flurry of Blows and your off-hand attacks are all performed at the end of your round and therefore high Attack bonus Attacks lost to Northlander Hewing.

You can choose Northlander Hewing as a fighter bonus feat.

The loss of attacks is not shown on your character sheet. But they are implemented in the combat engine.

The combat stance Northlander Hewing can be combined with combat modes like Power attack, Combat Expertise and their upgrades.

Northlander Hewing is deactivated on a weapon or shield switch and has a cooldown of 6 seconds to be switched on again. It is also deactivated on item switches, like switching rings.

It will maximize bonus physical damage on your weapon (a bonus 1d4 piercing damage on your weapon will become a constant 4 piercing bonus damage). It will not maximize bonus elemental damage on your weapon (a bonus 1d4 cold damage on your weapon will still be rolled).

It will maximize your base damage on a critical hit (a 1d12/*3 weapon will hit for 36 damage on every crit).

All attacks are counted, whatever their source is (haste, whirlwind frenzy).

Northlander Hewing doesnt add damage to Shieldbash attacks nor does it reduce Shieldbash attacks per round.

Northlander Hewing cant be used with ranged weapons.

Upon casting a spell Northlander Hewing deactivates and must be activate again to use it.
