Oilusk is the primogenitor language of Illuskan, Truskan, Bothii and Reghedjic. Like the majority of Faerûn's human tongues, Illuskan uses the Thorass alphabet. It is also know as Illuski.

Few people still speak the old tongue, its influence having waned to merely being used during rituals like the blessing of ships.

Common Illuskan surnames include: Brightwood, Helder, Hornraven, Lackman, Stonar, Stormwind, and Winddrivver.
