Description

You can create an area of deepest shadow radiating from the object or creature, and travels with it. It provides 20% concealment and lasts one minute per level (maximum 5 minutes). Darkness cannot be removed by Gust of Wind.

NWN2 has the innate level of this invocation to 1, unlike in 3.5E (and the regular Darkness spell) where is set to 2.

Even creatures that can normally see in such conditions (such as with darkvision or low-light vision) have the miss chance in an area shrouded in magical darkness. Normal lights (torches, candles, lanterns, and so forth) are incapable of brightening the area. This invocation functions like the [[darkness]] spell, including countering or [[dispel]]ling any light spell of equal or lower level. The darkness created by this invocation last 60 seconds per level, up to a maximum of 10 minutes.
