Expose Weakness has been reworked so that an on-hit property is added to the weapon; it works like a mode, once you activate it the first attack to hit the target will inflict the bleeding and AC penalty to it and a 12s timer will start. After 12s the on-hit property will be re-added to your weapon automatically. This fixes the auto-hit bug used by vanilla Expose Weakness.

*It does work when polymorphed but then only deals half DEX damage.

  • Type of feat: Class, Epic
  • Prerequisite: Character level 21, Evasion, Epic Prowess
  • Required for: None
  • Specifics: The character uses one attack from a flurry. If the attack hits, the target's weakness is exposed: Every round for 4 rounds the target takes damage equal to twice the character's Dexterity bonus (minimum of 2). This damage ignores all damage reductions and immunities. During this time, the target's AC is also reduced by 3, and stacks. So in 4 rounds, the -3 AC effect is doubled to -6 in the 3rd round against a single opponent. And sustained throughout that single encounter against said single opponent.

This ability has a cooldown of 12 seconds.

  • Use: Automatic

Note

Expose Weakness has been reworked so that an on-hit property is added to the weapon; it works like a mode, once you activate it the first attack to hit the target will inflict the bleeding and AC penalty to it and a 12s timer will start. After 12s the on-hit property will be re-added to your weapon automatically. This fixes the auto-hit bug used by vanilla Expose Weakness.

  • Please also note that Expose Weakness does not (and never has, including the vanilla game) work with ranged weapons. It is a melee only feat, so plan your build accordingly.
  • It does work when polymorphed but then only deals half DEX damage.
