== Gameplay Notes ==

*Generally, firing into combat, with the attack of opportunity will be cumbersome. This does remove the penalty, although it is still dangerous to attack in melee with a ranged weapon.

*The extra damage is useful for [[Rogue]]s attacking with [[sneak attack]] at range, although the range of sneak attack is up to 30 feet. It is very close to melee range however.

*It is normally required for [[rapid shot]] but a [[Ranger]] can bypass this by choosing the ranged combat style.

*A fighter may select Point Blank Shot as one of his [[Bonus feat]]s.
