Cormanthan is not not an official language anywhere except in the Dalelands, where it customarily spoken. Both Cormyr and Sembia for example formally speak and write in Chondathan.<br /> <br /> The language is closely related with Chondathan, both being off-shoots of Central Thorass.<br /> <br /> A notable speaker of Cormanthan is the Sage of Shadowdale, though he is known fluently speak many other languages also.<br /> [[Category:Languages]]</div>
