Clerics who take the Illusion domain believe in the importance of secrets, masks, and names. To an Illusion cleric, all identifying traits of a person can be used to define them for the purpose of imposing rules and spells upon them. Therefore, Illusion clerics teach that one should share important information only with close personal relations, and figuratively (or literally) mask one's self in the presence of outsiders. As Illusion clerics understand the power of identification, they often also hoard information about others, and can be well-studied on esoteric lore like True Names, the purest and most complete definition a thing can have.
