== Description ==

When the spell is cast it confers complete invulnerability to all weapons except for those of +3 or better enchantment. However the casting time is also very short making this spell incredibly useful in the thick of combat where buying a few seconds can mean the difference between life or death. It is important to note that this spell does not work in combination with protection from normal weapons.

This spell lasts for the duration or until dispelled. The effect of an Absolute Immunity spell lasts no longer than 1 second for each spell save DC point over ten. Every abjuration spell focus feat gives a bonus of four seconds. For a specialized abjurer with a DC of 10 (base) + 9 (spell level) + 8 (ability modifier) + 3 (feats) + 3 (epic DC) = 33, the spell would last 23 seconds, plus 3 x 4 seconds for his abjuration spell focus feats. That makes total duration of 35 seconds / 6 rounds. This spell is incredibly powerful hence the duration is so short. This spell cancels an active Negate Weapons ward.

Archveult was a pupil of the seven wizards in Myth Drannor. Tall, graceful, and silverbearded, he was soon the epitome of the cultured, aweinspiring archwizard. Archveult is believed to have traveled to Calimshan after the fall of Myth Drannor, and dissapeared there not long after. He has not been found since.

Archveult developed his spell for Absolute Immunity during the siege of Myth Drannor by the Army of Darkness, though he did not complete his great work until after the City fell. It is said Archveult decided to share his work with the remainder of Myth Drannor's loyal mages, after which the spell was gradually disseminated through Faerun during their travels and adventures. Archveult's Absolute Immunity remains a rare spell, though it is less rare in Calimshan and among people knowledgable on Myth Drannor and its human mages.
