Description
Your touch inflicts 10 points of negative energy damage per caster level (maximum 150). If the target passes its Will save, it takes only half damage and cannot be reduced below 1 hp by this spell. This spell has a reverse effect on undead, healing the targeted undead to full health instead of harming it.
Notes
This spell cannot be spontaneously cast by clerics.
3.5E Notes
<b>Divine Spell Power</b>
Type of Feat: Divine
Prerequisite: Ability to turn or rebuke undead, 1st level divine spells
Use: Selected (mode)

You can spend a turn or rebuke attempt as a free action and roll a turning check (with a special +3 bonus, plus any other modifiers you'd normally apply to your turning check). Treat the result of the turning check as a modifier to your caster level on the next divine spell you cast in that round.

For example, if a cleric used this feat and rolled a 16 on his turning check, he would add a +2 bonus to his caster level for the next divine spell he casts in the round. Had he rolled an 8, he would instead apply a -1 penalty to his caster level for the next divine spell he cast in the round. If you don't cast a divine spell before your next turn, you lose the effect of the check result. This feat has no effect on your arcane spellcasting ability.

The Min/Max Caster Levels this feat can add or substract are 4 and -4.

Gameplay Notes
The duration of the casterlevel addition / substraction is equal to a round * wisdom modifier. This feat is essentially the equivalent of Divine Might, except for divine spellcasters.

Mastery of Energy (Hierophant PrC feature) will give you also a +4 bonus to Turning checks of the feat Divine Spellpower.

Only spells of the class which granted you turn undead will be affected, so Cleric, Paladin or Blackguard!<br>
<br>
[Divine Spellpower] works as it is documented.

1. check = 1d20 + CHA mod + 3 (+1d4 if sun domain, +4 if Hierophant master of energy, +2 if 5 or more ranks in Lore: Religion)

2. If you have Hierophant advanced divine spell power the result above is set to 10 if < 10.

3. Check >= 22 => +4 CL
<br>Check >= 19 => +3 CL
<br>Check >= 16 => +2 CL
<br>Check >= 13 => +1 CL
<br>Check >= 10 => No change
<br>Check >= 7 => -1 CL
<br>Check >= 4 => -2 CL
<br>Check >= 1 => -3 CL
<br>Check < 1 => -4 CL
<br>
If you have advanced divine spell power you can go past the +4 cap
<br>
<br>Check >=25 => +5 CL
<br>Check >=28 => +6 CL
<br>Check >=31 => +7 CL
<br>Check >=34 => +8 CL
<br>Check >=37 => +9 CL
<br>Check >=40 => +10 CL
<br>
The effect lasts for n rounds where n is your wisdom modifier.

Turn undead is a class ability for a Cleric or a Paladin.

Clerics, Morninglord of Lathanders, Paladins, Warpriests, and Blackguards can channel positive energy, which can halt undead. The alignment of the character doesn't affect what happens.

Turning checks
Turning undead is a full action in NWN2. It does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Times per Day: You may attempt to turn undead a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier (regardless of what mixed classes you possess). This number is increased by taking the Extra Turning, Extra Turning II, and Extra Turning III feats.

Range: You turn undead in your line of sight up to 60 feet (20m) away.

Targets affected: Undead are always affected; outsiders are also affected if you have the Planar Turning epic feat or the cleric domain of Evil.

Turning Check
The first thing you do is roll a turning check to see how powerful an undead creature you can turn. This is a Charisma check (1d20 + your Charisma modifier). You gain a +1d4 bonus if you took the sun domain. 5 or more ranks in Lore: Religion grants a +2 bonus to the check. On a given turning attempt, you can turn no undead creature whose Hit Dice exceeds the result on this table:

:{| border="1" style="text-align:center" cellpadding=4 class=wikitable
+Turning Check Table
Turning Check Result !! Maximum Hit Dice Affected
0 or lower || Cleric’s level – 4
1 – 3 || Cleric’s level – 3
4 – 6 || Cleric’s level – 2
7 – 9 || Cleric’s level – 1
10 – 12 || Cleric’s level
13 – 15 || Cleric’s level + 1
16 – 18 || Cleric’s level + 2
19 – 21 || Cleric’s level + 3
22 or higher || Cleric’s level + 4

Turning Damage
You roll 2d6 + your cleric level + your Charisma modifier for turning damage. That’s how many total Hit Dice of undead you can turn. Sun domain clerics gain an additional +d6 bonus to this total. Multiply the final result by 1.5 for Empower Turning.

Effect and Duration of Turning
The turned creature acts as if rebuked and stands still, taking a -2 penalty to AC, and have their dexterity bonus lost (if above 10, the score is set to 10 if they can be affected by ability damage). This effect lasts for 10 rounds.

If you have twice as many cleric levels (or more) as the creature has Hit Dice, you destroy (supernaturally kill) the creature instead.

Other classes and turn undead
Blackguards can turn undead beginning at level 3 as if they were a cleric 2 levels lower than their blackguard level.

Paladins can turn undead beginning at level 4 as if they were a cleric 3 levels lower than their paladin level.

Doomguides requires the extra turning feat to choose the class, but give many turn undead feats free. They add their entire level to the cleric level.

The Improved Turning feat (granted free at level 2 to doomguides) adds 1 to the level check.

If you are multiclassed between any of the turning classes, you add the bonuses from each class (minimum 0).

* A level 10 cleric / 10 paladin would have a turning level of 17.
* A level 10 cleric / 10 blackguard would have a turning level of 18.
* A level 10 cleric / 10 doomguide would have a turning level of 21.
* A level 10 cleric / 5 paladin / 5 doomguide would have a turning level of 18.
* A level 10 cleric / 5 blackguard / 5 paladin (somehow!) would have a turning level of 12, taking the paladin's +2 bonus (blackguard and paladin levels do not stack, paladin's level-3 is used unless the character has MORE blackguard levels than paladin levels).
* A level 10 cleric / 5 blackguard / 4 paladin (somehow!) would have a turning level of 13, taking the blackguard's +3 bonus (in this case, the character has more blackguard levels than paladin levels, so for purposes of turning, the blackguard level-2 is used, while the paladin levels are ignored).

Notes
*If the turning attempt fails (e.g., if the target has too many HD) while the caster is invisible/ethereal, the invisibility will not be dispelled. Whether this is intentional or a bug, it still signifies a reduction in game difficulty. If this is intentional, then at least on hardcore difficulty the casting event should be signalled to the targets in the vicinity whether the caster manages to affect them or not. Otherwise you can simply try turning for hours until you get a lucky roll.

*The effects applied by this ability are not supposed to be dispellable, as it is an extraordinary ability. However, no effects are marked as extraordinary, so all of them are subject to dispel. This applies to AC decrease, the Turned effect, DEX decrease (outsiders only, planar turning) as well as the VFX applied by this spell. Since all effects except DEX decrease are linked, dispelling any one of them will dispel them all. This is extremely problematic, as Mordekainen's Disjunction must be cast on outsiders to decrease their spell resistance and to dispel the Magic Circle against Good/Evil (horned devils) to cancel their immunity to Mind Fog.

*Turn Undead will mostly ignore associates of other party members, so for example, if Safiya summons a wraith and Dove uses Turn Undead, the wraith will not be affected. This is incredibly problematic, as it simplifies the game overall, running counter to hardcore difficulty rules, this problem affects pretty much every offensive spell/ability in the game. Some campaigns like MoB disable hurting of friendly associates altogether. However, even if not disabled, there is another problem - the game checks if the associate's master is a player controlled character. Since most players will be controlling the character that is casting the spell/using an ability at the time when the spell is cast/ability is used, this means any associates of other party members are ignored completely (so in the example above, the player is most likely to control Dove at the moment when Turn Undead is "cast", which means the check for Safiya being a player controlled character will return FALSE, so the Turn Undead script will simply ignore her summoned undead associate). This behaviour is set in module load scripts (depends on module/campaign) and in NW_I0_SPELLS spells include (check CAMPAIGN_SWITCH_USE_PERSONAL_REPUTATION).
Description
This spell forms a living glass creation that is an exact copy of the target with the following exceptions: The creature is made out of glass, and thus more brittle, being summoned in at 1/4 of the current hit points of the target. The summoned creature has 15 resistance to fire, cold, electricity, acid, bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage types. The summoned creature has vulnerability 50% to sonic damage. The glass copy is allied with the caster, but not under direct control, acting as a summoned animal or a henchman. Creatures with more hit dice than 15+ 2 * number of spell focus feats are deleveled to that number of hit dice. Copied creatures have no memorized spells.

Gameplay Notes
The Glass Doppelganger occupies a summoned creature slot. Meaning that if you already have a Summon Monster (I-IX) creature out, creating a Glass Doppelganger will unsummon your previously summoned creature. You also cannot cast this on yourself.

These feats are custom to Baldurs Gate: The Sword Coast Chronicles. They were implemented based on their Pencil and Paper incarnations and the work Obsidian had initially done to include them in NWN2.

Some homebrew modifications were made in order to translate them into the game environment. The Shield attack does not handle as on off-hand weapon for example although it does suffer a penalty that can be mitigated by the two weapon fighting feats. (e..a dual wielding)

It is also worth noting that if you have sneak attack dice, you will land sneak attacks after successfully shield slamming your opponent. The reason for this is that the daze causes the opponent to lose sight of you.

<span style="color: rgb(255, 128, 0);">Shield Bash</span><br />
Type of Feat: General<br />Prerequisites: None<br />Specifics: You can bash an opponent with a shield, using it as an off-hand weapon. Used this way, a shield is a martial bludgeoning weapon. For the purpose of penalties on attack rolls, treat a shield as a one-handed weapon. When you perform a shield bash, you may still apply the shield's shield bonus to your AC. Shield size impacts how hard it is to use as an off hand weapon as well as determining the amount of damage it does if it hits. Larger shields tend to be more difficult to bash with but do notably more damage. Shields can have critical hits when used as an off-hand weapon. A shield Bash counts as an extra attack and will happen the moment you switch it on and every six seconds afterwards while you are attacking.

The additional attack penalty while Shield Bashing mode is on is: 0 Light, 2 Heavy, 2 Tower. This excludes the default 'to hit' attack penalty for having a shield equipped, which adds another 2 in the case of the towershield. When using a towershield to bash the attacker incurs another momentary +2 during the Bash attack itself only. These penalties can be reduced or negated with the Two weapon (heavy & tower shields) and Improved Two Weapon Fighting feats (applicable to towershields only). The base damage for every shield type is d3 Light, d4 Heavy, d6 Tower plus the strength modifier of the bashing character including any and all buffs. If enabled modes such as power attack add extra damage at the appropriate penalty and a critical hit with the shield will double the total damage dealt. The shield cannot be made a Keen weapon by spell. Armor Class Enchantment bonuses on the shield do not affect the attack or damage rolls but it is possible to find shields that do above or below average damage. A shield bash executed during a charge counts as a free charge attack and gains all of the bonuses from Charging including a damage bonus from Powerful Charge and Greater Charge.<br />During the bash attack the Shield AC bonus is not deducted from the character's total armor class. (This is the Improved Shield Bash feat equivalent in PnP Terms)
You gain an additional shield bash at BAB 11, and another one at BAB 21.<br />Use: Automatically if switched on
Type of Feat: General<br />Prerequisites: Shield Bash, Base Attack Bonus + 3<br />Specifics: If you hit an opponent with your shield as part of a charge action, in addition to dealing damage normally, you will perform a trip check without provoking an attack of opportunity. If you lose, the defender does not get to try to trip you in return. Size increasing or diminishing effects can affect your trip. (The +4 size bonus from Powerful Charge applies as well as a +4 for Improved Knockdown)<br />Use: Automatically once a Shield ability such as Shield Bash or Shield Slam hits a target during a charge or Selected

<span style="color: rgb(255, 128, 0);">Shield Slam</span><br />
Type of Feat: General<br />Prerequisites: Shield Bash, Shield Charge, Base Attack Bonus + 6<br />Specifics: As a combat action or as a charge action, you may make an attack with your shield against an opponent. If you hit, you force the target damaged by this attack to make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 character level + Str modifier) in addition to dealing damage normally. A defender who fails this saving throw is dazed for 1 round (until just before your next action). Constructs, oozes, plants, undead, incorporeal creatures, and creatures immune to critical hits cannot be dazed. A Shield Slam can cost you one or several attacks in the time it takes to execute during your combat round. A Shield Slam inflicts damage like a Shield Bash even if the opponent saves, as long as the Slam has connected.<br />Use: Selected
: When you daze an opponent with your slam he is thrown off-balance, essentially being flatfooted. Such an opponent is susceptible to sneak attacks and cannot perform any actions. This includes not being able to drink potions. This is unlike the normal daze effect that spells for example use which seems to protect against sneak attacks and allows dazed creature to drink potions. Daze Immunity does not prevent the Shield Slam daze.

<b>Northlander Hewing</b>
Northlander hewing is a style of melee combat made famous by the Northern barbarian tribes, who are renowned for the savage strength they can put behind each blow. You limit yourself to 2/3 of your attacks (rounded to nearest integer) each round but do maximum damage with the remaining attacks. You add your strength modifier as extra physical damage. Due to the strength you must put behind your blows you suffer an attack bonus and dodge AC penalty of 2.

Gameplay Notes
*All attacks are counted, whatever their source is (haste, whirlwind frenzy). You lose the last attacks of your normal attack schedule, even though those are not shown on your character sheet.
*The combat stance Northlander Hewing can be combined with combat modes like Power attack, Combat Expertise and their upgrades.
*Northlander Hewing is deactivated on item switches and has a cooldown of 6 seconds to be switched on again.
*The only maximized damage is your base weapon damage and any additional physical damage, due to a game bug the critical hits are computed normally and not maximized.
*Northlander Hewing doesn't add damage to Shieldbash attacks nor does it reduce Shieldbash attacks per round.

A somewhat recently composed spell as such things go, Thalantyr's Bow Bane provides its target with damage reduction of 6/magic against ranged weapons. While less potent than the lower circle "Protection From Arrows" ward, it does so endlessly, and does not replace the lower level ward.

If you cast this on a target who already has the spell effects, the previous casting is immediately removed. It is common knowledge around the Sword Coast's wizarding circles that Thalantyr developed this spell during his adventurous years, before his eventual retirement to High Hedge.

It is less commonly known that his work on the spell was not entirely original. Experts on the subject contend that several supposedly "novel" elements originate from Netherese Battle Magic. Thus not being quite so ingenious as the spell originally seemed. Non-the-less, the spell is an impressive combination of deciphered Netherese lore and original modern day wizardry. When pressed on the subject Thalantyr admits that Netherese artefacts played a minor role in the development of his bow bane spell. He maintains however that most of the work was original, spurred on by a smoldering hatred for bow wielding Orcs.
Description
This spell confers an aging curse upon a single living creature that cannot be ended by Dispel Magic or other magical effects. A priest of Yondalla must physically touch the recipient with her hand to cast this spell, requiring a successful touch attack roll. The aging curse inflicts a -3 decrease in strength, dexterity, constitution, and a -3 decrease in saving throws. The curse lasts one or several days depending on Yondalla's whims. Ageless and long living creatures such as dragons, undead, outsiders, elves, and dwarves are not affected.

Only one Bane of Yondalla spell can be in effect upon a creature at any one time. Additional castings of Bane of Yondalla have no effect while one Bane of Yondalla is still in effect. Yondalla imposes no restrictions on her priests as to how many times this spell can be cast upon a creature.

Gameplay Notes
Description
The Red Wizards are the masters of Thay, the conquerors of that land’s native Rashemi, and the would-be magical overlords of Faerûn. They focus on a school of magic more intently than any specialist, achieving incredible mastery of magic within a very narrow focus. Seen as cruel and evil tyrants by people across Toril, a few choose to leave their region, assume secret identities, and practice magic without having to worry about political alliances and possible slave uprisings.

Early in their careers, would-be Red Wizards specialize in a school of magic. All Red Wizards have some skill as a specialist wizard, and most follow that path exclusively, but a few dabble in other sorts of learning (such as combat or divine magic).

<span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">You must take your first level of Red Wizard as soon as possible (level 6).</span>

Requirements
Race: Human

Alignment: Any non-good

Skills: Spellcraft 8 ranks

Feats: Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration, one metamagic or item creation feat (other than Scribe Scroll)

Spellcasting: Specialist Wizard, able to cast 3rd-level arcane spells

Class Features
*Spells Per Day/Spells Known: When a new Red Wizard level is gained, the character gains new spells per day (and spells known, if applicable) as though he had gained a level in Wizard.
*Enhanced Specialization: Upon becoming a Red Wizard, the character becomes even more skilled at casting spells from his chosen school of specialization - gaining +1 to DC for spells requiring a save and +1 to attempts to penetrate spell resistance. Red Wizards also lose the ability to learn new spells and use scrolls from a second prohibited school of magic (already known spells are not lost, however)
*Circle Magic: Red Wizards gain access to the Circle Magic feats.
*Specialist Defense: A Red Wizard gains a bonus to defending against spells from his specialist school. This bonus is +1 at 1st level, +2 at 3rd level, +3 at 7th level, and +4 at 9th level.
*Spell Power: At 2nd level, The Red Wizard's effective caster level for determining level-dependent variable checks for spells is increased by +1. This bonus increases by +1 every even-numbered Red Wizard level, to a maximum of +5 at 10th level.
**Note: Although not specified in the feat description, this bonus only applies to spells from the chosen school of Specialization. This includes any Epic Spells from the chosen school.
**Note: Because spell-save DC is raised by +1 for every 3 caster levels over 20, this feat has the potential to raise the DC of spells from the chosen school of Specialization by an additional +1 or +2 points (e.g. a Wizard 7 / Red Wizard 10 with Practiced Spellcaster: Wizard casting spells from his chosen school of Specialization would be benefiting as a 26th-level caster, and would thus receive an Epic Bonus of +2 to his spell-save DC).
*Wizard Bonus Feat: Red Wizards gain a bonus metamagic or item creation feat at levels 5 and 10.
Gameplay Notes
* unlike the original vanilla NWN 2 you can pick your second prohibited school freely. So it's not determined automatically on your specialized school. You ll be granted a feat on having your first Red Wizard level which will let you pick your 2nd prohibited school. This process is quite similar to picking a prohibited school at your first level as specialized Wizard.

While the Red Wizards are not opposed to blasting their opponents with deadly spells or shredding the minds of their enemies with dark magic, there are times when they need protectors who have mastered the art of swordplay. These protectors are the Thayan Knights, familiar with magic and loyal to none but the tattooed mages.

The Thayan Knights act as bodyguards and enforcers for the Red Wizards and as an extension of their reach. They lead common Thayan troops into battle and help guard the wizard enclaves. Although they are referred to as knights, they have no code of conduct, and the only rule that binds them is that their lives are worth nothing compared to the safety of the Red Wizards. Almost all Thayan knights are fighters, although monks and rangers have been known to pursue this career. Barbarians are typically too reckless to concentrate on defense, and the Red Wizards consider other individuals too weak for the duties of a Thayan knight.

A character can achieve a maximum of 5 levels in the Thayan Knight prestige class.

Divine Spellcasting
At each Morninglord level, the character gains new spells as if he had also gained a level in a divine spellcasting class to which he belonged before adding the prestige class level. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained.

Lathander's Boon
This ability combines your Morninglord and Cleric and Paladin levels for the purpose of turning undead and divine spellcasting.

Improved Turning
At Level 2, Morninglords gains Improved Turning.

Extra Turning
At level 3, Morninglords gain Extra Turning II. At level 10, they gain Extra Turning III.

Divine Vengeance
At level 6, Morninglords gain Divine Vengeance (not to be confused with Sacred Vengeance).

Empower Turning
At level 10, Morninglords gain Empower Turning.

Save Bonus
At 4th level, Morninglords get a +4 bonus to saving throws against death effects and to overcome a negative level. Upon reaching 8th level, a Morninglord gets +8 bonus to saving throws against death and makes all saving throws to overcome a negative level.

Bond of Dawnspeaker
The Morninglord's devotion to Lathander has helped him to establish a certain supernatural link to Lathander's powerful weapon. These links manifest in the form of a pale green nimbus around a weapon, representing the ability of the Morninglord to increase the power of the weapon he wields. The ability lasts for 1 round each time it is used and can be invoked as a free action a number of times per day equal to the Morninglord 's charisma bonus (minimum 1). A Morninglord must decide to use the ability before attacking and if the attack misses that use is wasted. At 5th level the bond grants wielded weapons the ghost touch property. At 7th level weapons wielded by a Morninglord gain both ghost touch and undead bane properties. At 9th level wielded weapons gain the ghost touch, undead bane and disruption properties even if they are not bludgeoning weapons. The weapons normal abilities still applies.

Ethereal Purge
Once per day the Morninglord may surround himself with a sphere of power with a radius of 5 feet per class level that forces all ethereal creatures in the area to manifest on or shift themselves to the material plane, as appropriate. For example, it forces ghosts to manifest and ethereal creatures are forced into material plane. Such creatures may attempt a will save (DC 10 + 1/2 Morninglord class level + Wisdom modifier) to resist this effect. Those who fail suffer the above effects and are prevented from returning to the ethereal plane for 1 minute per class level.

*Note: This ability technically works as a concealment negating effect, meaning anyone caught in the area will lose their concealment bonus, including party members protected by Displacement or Greater Invisibility (and yes, this includes the caster as well). Also, due to a bug, even creatures without any concealment on them must attempt a will save, even though there is nothing to negate there.

Lathander's Grace
A Morninglord gains complete immunity to energy drain and death effects. Furthermore, allies within 10 feet of him gain a +4 bonus on saving throws against death effects and to saving throws to overcome a negative level.

*Note that saving throw increase against negative levels is not implemented and it cannot be implemented, because negative levels are applied in a wide variety of ways (Energy Drain, Enervation, Monster special abilities). Energy Drain and Enervation don't even allow a save, while monster special abilities usually allow a save of SAVING_THROW_TYPE_NEGATIVE type. So the best that can be done is add a +4 saving throw increase against negative energy, but this won't help against spells that apply negative levels.
*Bug: While the saving throw increase is set as a supernatural effect, the actual AoE effect is not, so it is possible to dispel this aura from Morninglords, and then the saving throw bonus granted by it is lost as well.

Note: This spell-ability technically works as a concealment negating effect, meaning anyone caught in the area will lose their concealment bonus, including party members protected by Displacement or Greater Invisibility (and yes, this includes the caster as well).

Such creatures may attempt a will save (dc 10 + 1/2 Morninglord's Class level + Wisdom bonus) to resist this effect. Those who fail suffer the above effects and are prevented from returning to the ethereal plane for 1 minute per class level. Note: This spell-ability technically works as a Concealment negating effect, meaning anyone caught in the area will lose their concealment bonus, including party members protected by Displacement/Improved Invisibility (and yes, this includes the caster as well). Also, due to a bug, even creatures without any concealment on them must attempt a will save, even though there is nothing to negate there.
Description
This spell confers a curse upon a single living creature that cannot be ended by Dispel Magic or other magical effects. A priest of Beshaba must physically touch the recipient with a bare hand to cast this spell, requiring a successful touch attack roll. The curse inflicts a -2 decrease in dexterity and a -2 decrease in saving throws. The curse lasts one or several days depending on Behsaba's whims.

In a spiritual sense, the Bane of Beshaba is the reversed version of the Favor of Tymora spell employed by the servants of Behsaba's nemesis. The spells Favor of Tymora and Bane of Beshaba automatically cancel each other out if cast on the same creature. Only one bane and favor spell can be in effect upon a creature at any one time. Additional castings of Bane of Beshaba have no effect while one Bane of Beshaba is still in effect. Beshaba imposes no restrictions on her priests as to how many times this spell can be cast upon a creature.
Description
Each friendly creature together with the caster in an 8 feet radius gains 50 spell resistance for the duration of the spell. The duration is decreased by three rounds for every creature affected.

When cast by a level 20 priest for a total party of three the three recipients would all gain Azuth's Spell Shield for eleven rounds (20 - 9 rounds). In order to affect a creature who has spell resistance with a spell, a spellcaster must roll the creature's spell resistance or higher on a 1d20 + caster level check.

Gameplay Notes
Note: This spell is only available to worshipers of Azuth and Mystra. The max SR one can attain in-game is actually 47 SR (50-3 (your PC counts!) = 47; additional PCs included reduce by -3 each).
