Blackguard
Description: The Blackguard epitomizes evil. Consorting with demons and devils and serving dark deities, the Blackguard is hated and feared by all. The Blackguard has many options available to them -- sending forth dark minions and servants to do their bidding, attacking with stealth and honorless guile, or straightforward smiting of the forces of good that stand in their way. Therefore, almost any class is suited to take the Blackguard prestige class.
Use Poison
A Blackguard can safely Poison his/her melee weapon without the need to make a Dexterity check.

Smite Good
Once a day, a Blackguard of 2nd level or higher may attempt to smite a good-aligned enemy with one normal melee attack. The Blackguard adds their Charisma bonus to the attack roll and adds 1 extra point of damage per class level.

Dark Blessing
At 2nd level, the Blackguard applies their Charisma modifier to all saving throws.

Aura of Despair
Beginning at 3rd level, the Blackguard radiates a malign aura that causes enemies within 10 feet of them to take a –2 penalty on all saving throws.

Turn Undead
When a Blackguard reaches 3rd level, he gains the supernatural ability to Turn Undead. He may use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. He turns undead as a Cleric of two levels lower would.

Summon Fiend
At 5th level, the Blackguard can summon a hellfire hound (upgraded again at level 10).

Sneak Attack
At 4th level, the Blackguard gains the sneak attack ability. This ability functions exactly like the Rogue ability of the same name. The bonus damage is +1d6 at 4th level, +2d6 at 7th level, and +3d6 at 10th level.

Spells
At 2nd level, the Blackguard gains a spellbook. Spells require a base Wisdom score of 10 + spell level to be cast and can be picked in that list.

***NOTE ON BLACKGUARD CASTER LEVELS: Caster level calculation for Blackguard is: Blackguard levels + (non-Blackguard levels/2) = Caster Level. So a level 30 character with 8 or 9 Blackguard levels will have CL19 while a level 30 PC with 10 Blackguard levels will have CL20.

Description
The Assassin is the master of dealing quick, lethal blows. Assassins often function as spies, informants, killers for hire, or agents of vengeance. Their training in anatomy, stealth, poison, and the dark arts allows them to carry out missions of death with shocking, terrifying precision. Most Rogues, Monks, and Bards who choose this class become examples of the classic assassin skulking in the shadows with a blade carrying certain death. Fighters, ex-Paladins, Rangers, Druids, and Barbarians operate as warrior-assassins, with as much ability to kill in combat as from the shadows. Sorcerers, Wizards, and Clerics may be the most terrifying assassins of all, for with their spells they can infiltrate and slay with even greater impunity.
|Poison Resistance V

Death Attack
At 1st level, the Assassin can make a special sneak attack called a Death Attack. This ability adds to the Rogue's Sneak Attack ability, adding an extra 1d6 points of damage, if you already have levels of Rogue. This bonus rises to +2d6 at 3rd level, +3d6 at 5th level, +4d6 at 7th level, and +5d6 at 9th level. If used against an opponent not already in combat, a successful death attack forces the victim to make a fortitude save or become paralyzed.

The DC for a target to become paralyzed is equal to; Base 10 + Assassin Level + Intelligence bonus modifier. A level 20 character with 10 Assassin levels and a Intelligence score of 16 for a bonus of +3 will have DC of 10 (Base) + 10 (Levels) + 3 (bonus) for 23. Opponent must be out of combat.

If the character has Epic Precision, death attack will do full damage but will not paralyze the target if it is immune to critical hits.

Use Poison
The character is trained in the use of poison and is never at risk of poisoning himself when applying poison to a weapon.

Poison Resistance
The assassin's expertise with deadly toxins gives him an unnatural resistance to poisons of all types. The assassin gains a +1 bonus on Fortitude saves against poison at 2nd level. This bonus increases to +2 at 4th level, +3 at 6th level, +4 at 8th level, and +5 at 10th level.

Uncanny Dodge
At 2nd level, the Assassin retains their dexterity bonus to even when caught flat-footed.

Improved Uncanny Dodge
At 5th level, the Assassin can no longer be sneak attacked except by a character with 4 or more total levels in classes that grant sneak attack than the character levels of the Assassin.

Hide in Plain Sight
At 8th level, the Assassin may enter stealth mode even while being observed.

Spells
At 2nd level, the Assassin gains a spellbook, spells require a base Intelligence score of 10+spell level to be cast and can be picked in that list.

***NOTE ON ASSASSIN CASTER LEVELS: Caster level calculation for Assassin is: Assassin levels + (non-Assassin levels/2) = Caster Level. So a level 30 character with 8 or 9 Assassin levels will have CL19 while a level 30 PC with 10 Assassin levels will have CL20.
The Challenge Ratings are based on the idea that you'll be with a party.

If you're going solo, it's suggested you add 2-3 levels to the CR (in many cases (Areas), you are better off adding 4-5 Levels...depending on your Build, and especially whether or not your Build utilizes Magic (divine/arcane) or UMD (considering how easily dispellable UMD is from Scrolls).

The stated CR of some areas is quite wildly different from the real difficulty.

Note
The Challenge Ratings are based on the idea that you'll be with a party.

If you're going solo, it's suggested you add 2-3 levels to the CR (in many cases (Areas), you are better off adding 4-5 Levels...depending on your Build, and especially whether or not your Build utilizes Magic (divine/arcane) or UMD (considering how easily dispellable UMD is from Scrolls).

The stated CR of some areas is quite wildly different from the real difficulty.

Note
The Challenge Ratings are based on the idea that you'll be with a party.

If you're going solo, it's suggested you add 2-3 levels to the CR (in many cases (Areas), you are better off adding 4-5 Levels...depending on your Build, and especially whether or not your Build utilizes Magic (divine/arcane) or UMD (considering how easily dispellable UMD is from Scrolls).

The stated CR of some areas is quite wildly different from the real difficulty.

Description
The hellfire warlocks are a secretive group of specialist warlocks who have mastered hellfire, a dangerous energy found only in the Nine Hells. By tapping into this infernal power, these characters learn to infuse their eldritch blasts and magic items that they wield with the dark power of hellfire.

A character can achieve a maximum of 3 levels in the Hellfire warlock prestige class.

Requirements
Skills: Intimidate 6, Lore: The Planes 12, Spellcraft 6
|-
|3||Hellfire Blast +6d6, Hellfire Shield
|}

Invocations
At each level, you gain new invocations known and an increase in invoker level as if you had also gained a level in the warlock class. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained.

Hellfire Blast
Whenever you use your Eldritch blast ability, you can change your Eldritch blast into a hellfire blast. A hellfire blast deals your normal Eldritch blast damage plus an extra 2d6 points of damage per class level. If your blast hits multiple targets (for example, the Eldritch chain or Eldritch cone blast shape invocations), each target takes the extra damage. This damage is not fire damage. Hellfire burns hotter than any normal fire.

Each time you use this ability, you take 1 point of Constitution damage. This is mainly because of the dangerous nature of Hellfire this supernatural flame burns your enemies flesh and soul, but also takes a little of you as well.

Resistance to Fire
At 2nd level, you gain resistance to fire 10. This resistance stacks with any resistance to fire you have gained from warlock class levels. ***Note that due to a bug the energy resistance does not stack with Warlock Resistance, so its best to chose something other than fire***

Summon Baatezu
Once per day, the Hellfire Warlock can randomly summon a Baatezu from the Nine Hells to fight for the party. Control of the Baatezu lasts for a number of rounds equal to 1 round per hellfire warlock level + 1d8 + their Charisma bonus. When the ability expires, the caster loses dominance over the Baatezu - which can have disastrous consequences, as devils typically despise being bothered by lesser beings. The caster is advised not to leave this up to chance, and dispel this summons before this time is up, sending the Baatezu back to the Nine Hells - though the devil might not attack, this method is the only certain way of avoiding a violent confrontation with the angry creature.

Hellfire Shield
You can call up hellfire to surround yourself with a protective barrier. Whenever someone directs a melee attack against you, you can, as an immediate action, aim a blast of hellfire at that creature. This blast deals damage equal to your eldritch blast (including bonus damage from the hellfire blast ability). This blast automatically strikes the target, which can attempt a Reflex saving throw for half damage (DC 10 + 1/2 your character level + your Cha modifier).

Each time you use this ability, you take 1 point of Constitution damage. This is mainly because of the dangerous nature of Hellfire this supernatural flame burns your enemies flesh and soul, but also takes a little of you as well.

Gameplay notes
Both Hellfire Blast and Hellfire Shield are "play modes", in a similar vein to, for instance, Power Attack. This means you do not have to enable them at all times.

This also means that you can apply an essence and shape to your eldricht blast as you would normally do (for instance, Eldricht Chain, Hellrime Blast).

Finally, it should be noted that the constitution damage only applies if you actually hit a target: if for instance you cast an Eldricht Doom where there is no foe to hit, the constitution damage will not apply.

Notes
If you block constitution drain you cannot use your hellfire abilities (custom server change)
*Hellfire Shield halves damage on a failed save.
*Class levels now stack with Warlock to determine Eldritch Blast Damage.
*RPGplayer's warlock fix has been added, which fixes issues relating to hellfire shield, Hellfire blast and constitution damage not being applied or dispellable.

Class notice
This kit is not available at character creation and must be unlocked by meeting special requirements, listed below.
This kit has 10 levels.

You become a Long Death monk by using the 'Monk Prestige Classes' feat all monk characters get at level 1. Through the conversation that opens you may select progression in an available prestige class whenever you level-up as a monk. You can also disable further progression in a prestige class through this menu.

Long Death Monk substitution levels do not progress the monk flurry and ki-fist feats.

Note that this is a 10 level kit, thus no Monk abilities are lost by it's selection, unless you do not take enough Monk levels in total. For example, A MotLD10/M11/X9 would have Greater Flurry of Blows, but would not have Adamantine Fists. In order to get Adamantine Fists you would need to have 26 Monk levels, if you take 10 levels of MotLD.

Description
Scattered across Faerûn, the monks of the long death are members of a macabre, secretive order of scholars seeking to understand the true nature of death.

They do not care about the soul or the afterlife—only about the actual process of death, specifically its effects on living tissue. Their organization is strongest in Thay, but outposts are scattered throughout Faerûn, even in the Silver Marches.

Monks make up the majority of the candidates for this prestige class, but clerics of the dark gods of death (such as Kiaransalee and Myrkul) are fairly common as well. Necromancers, assassins, and other characters who are fascinated with death round out the order’s numbers.

The candidate is inducted into the monks of the long death via a secret ceremony consisting of various morbid and hideous acts designed to test his resolve.
- Spells per Day/Spells Known: This class offers no spell progression.

- Progress in Deathguard and Macarbre Experiments can be continued after level 10. (Progression appears to be capped at 25 levels of progression. However, other Monk abilities are not progressed by MotLD. Ki Fists and Flurry of Blows are the only vanilla Monk abilities not progressed, so a Monk16/MotLD 14, which would gain an additional Macabre Experiments at MotLD 12 while not losing any Monk abilities - Needs testing to confirm.)

-No bonus feats.

Type of Feat: General
Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +4, Mobility
Use: Selected.

As a full-round action, you can enter an area occupied by an opponent who is at least one size category larger than you. You can then make a single melee attack at your highest attack bonus against this creature, who loses all dodge AC for that attack. After your attack, you return to the 5-foot square from which you entered the opponent's square. Using this feat does not provoke an attack of opportunity. Using this ability interrupts an ongoing attack flurry, to avoid this you have to use it at the end of your combat round, or sacrifice the remaining attacks in your flurry.
*Note that while the enemy loses dodge/dex AC against the attack, he is not considered flat footed and thus will not be susceptible to a sneak attack. However, any party members will benefit from the enemy losing their DEX/Dodge AC.
Monk of the Long Death (Monk Class Kit)
